Reporting to the Operations Manager and working closely with a highly skilled and supportive team, this role will be responsible for our HCV workshop. Working closely with the service, warranty and parts teams to ensure we deliver a professional and expert service to our growing base of clients. We strive to minimise the impact on our customers and business by being meticulous in detail with a proactive and solutions focused approach. The description of this role is outlined as follows;

1. Manage the daily operation of the workshop.

2. Monitor all job cards and workshop documentation.

3. Supervise and manage all workshop mechanics and support staff.

4. Ensure that invoicing of all work is managed on an ongoing basis.

5. Ensure that the productivity levels of mechanics is maintained at agreed levels.

6. Maintain high standards on the workshop floor.

7. Communicate with service advisor and clients to ensure that timely and cost effective work is always carried out.

8. Working closely with the Parts Manager.

9. To ensure that adequate cover is provided in the absence of workshop personnel and work with Service Advisor where achieving adequate cover is an issue.

10. Communicate regularly with the CVRT Test Centre Manager.

11. To undertake statutory training as may be required from time to time as well as training provided by Renault in Dublin or the UK as may be necessary from time to time.

12. Hold appropriate driving licences to enable the Workshop Foreman under-take full quality control checks unaided on all vehicles in the HGV and / or LGV centres.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: €60,000.00-€80,000.00 per year
