- Provide excellent customer service from the initial booking through to the return of the vehicle.
- Act as a key point of contact for customers throughout their service or repair.
- Take bookings for the service department and understand customers’ service and repair requirements.
- Organise the daily workshop schedule and coordinate customer requirements with the workshop team.
- Keep customers informed throughout the day on the progress of their vehicle.
- Communicate any additional work identified by the workshop and obtain customer approval where required.
- Liaise closely with technicians regarding job progress, expected completion times and any additional work required.
- Work closely with the Parts Advisor regarding parts availability, orders and workflow planning.
- Invoice completed work and collect customer payments.
- Explain work carried out when returning vehicles to customers and discuss any follow-up requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Organise the workshop roster for the month ahead online.
- Review staff clockings and approve technician overtime as required.
- Work closely with the Warranty Coordinator and Planner.
- Work with the Marketing Associate regarding the promotion of the workshop.
- Maintain accurate customer records and enter relevant information into company systems.
